Women Cell
There is well functioned Women Cell & Legal Cell in the college which provides space for exploring gender stereotypes, sensitizing students to a feminist understanding, women empowerment, legal rights, and awareness drives etc. This is all done through interaction. This cell organizes lectures, workshops on different topics, documentary screening and discussion on pertinent issues.

Session 2016-17
- Our 150 Girls Students Celebrated Teej Festival on 03.02.2016 through Swing, Mehandi Competition and Kite Flying Competition.
- 56 Girls Students participated in Rakhi Making Competition on 16thAugust, 2016
- 60 Girls Students Participated in Rangoli Competition on 27.09.2016
- Slogan Writing Competition on “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao” was held on 03.011.2016.
- Painting Competition was organized on 04.11.2016
- Demonstration and Lecture on Ariz (Sanitory Napkins) was organized on 19.11.2016.
- Shabnam of B.Sc. III got 3rdposition in Essay Writing competition organized by Women Cell of Arya College, Ambala Cantt.
- Three days’ workshop on Jewellery Making was organized from 20.03.2017 to 22.03.2017. Approximately 300 Girls students participated in this workshop.
Session 2017-18
- Two days’ workshop on “Yoga and Pranayam was organized from 25.09.2017 to 26.09.2017
- An Extension Lecture delivered on “Women Empowerment” on 15.02.2018 by Dr. Santosh dahiya, Associate Professor from University College, Kurukshetra.
- Three days’ workshop organized on 19.02.2018 to 21.02.2018 on Wall Handling, Interior Decoration and Beauty Tips.
- One day workshop organized on 06.03.2018 on Art and Craft. Students learnt how to make Gel Diya, Cement Candle, Carry Bags, paper Weight, Basket from Plastic Materials.
- Our Women Cell Incharge Mrs. Sushma Vatts delivered a lecture on 08.03.2018 on International Women Day.
